Aviva Rahmani
Aviva Rahmani (1945–) PhD, is an affiliate of the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She exhibits and publishes internationally. The Blued Trees Symphony is an aspect of Gulf to Gulf (2009–present) and is a NYFA–sponsored project on changing climate change policy with art, for which she was awarded fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts and A Blade of Grass.
She co-edited with Amara Geffen, Ann Rosenthal, and Chris Fremantle the anthology, Ecoart in Action: Activities, Case Studies, and Provocations for Classrooms and Communities (New Village Press, 2022). She is also the author of Divining Chaos: The Autobiography of an Idea (New Village Press, 2022)
