Lillian Ball
Lillian Ball is an ecological artist/pro–activist working primarily with wetland issues. A multidisciplinary background in anthropology, ethnographic film, and sculpture informs her internationally exhibited work. Awards include: NYFA Fellowships, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and an NEA Grant. Lillian’s ongoing WATERWASH® series combines native habitat restoration and educational outreach with climate–change adaptation. Her projects transform waterfronts through local community concepts, adapting to situations worldwide. See www.lillianball.com.
