Shai Zakai is a pioneer ecological artist, photographer, writer, green-spiritual activist, lecturer, healer, holistic therapist, Movementor, and founder of the ecoart discipline in Israel. She is the CEO of the Photography & Eco-art Centre and Green Heart clinics (1994–present), and the founder and director of the Israeli Forum for Ecological Art (1999–2009).
